Alden’s Songbook (From “The Demon Within Us – Part 3: Arrival”)

A Raft Through the Apocalypse

Alden and his Ma, on a raft they roam
Through waters wild, far from their home
The skies are dark, the world in disarray
But together they’ll find their way

Oh, Alden’s raft in the apocalypse
A boy and his Ma, in a world eclipse
With courage in their hearts, they’ll never fear
As they journey on, through trials severe

The waves crash high, the winds they howl
Beneath the moon’s pale, ghostly scowl
Yet Alden steers with steady hand
Guided by dreams of a distant land

With each day, they find hope anew
In the vast expanse of the ocean blue
Their bond unbreakable, their love profound
As they sail through the chaos, they’re homeward bound

Though the world may tremble, and darkness looms
Alden and his Ma, dispel all glooms
For in their unity, lies a beacon bright
Guiding them through the darkest night

Through storm and tempest, they press on
Their bond unbreakable, their spirit strong
For in each other, they’ve found their home
Together they’ll face whatever may come

So onward they sail, through the unknown
Alden and his Ma, never alone
In the midst of chaos, they’ll always find
The strength to endure, the will to shine

So they’ll journey on, through storm and strife
Together they’ll conquer, every challenge of life
On Alden’s raft, in the apocalypse grim
Their story echoes, a triumphant hymn.

The Harbour’s Anthem

When dawn breaks and paths wander astray,
Harbor men ready for a brand new day.
The fog blankets the distance, sun yet to rise,
But work awaits, under gray skies.

Engines hum to life, one by one,
Boats unmoor, their daily run begun.
In minutes, the harbor falls silent, bare,
As they fade into the misty air.

So heave away, set sail, eyes on the sea,
Island men, wild and gallant, forever free.
So heave away, set sail, eyes on the sea,
Island men, dauntless in their decree.

In bravery forged by their forefathers’ lore,
They haul their catch, no shackles anymore.
Some days, fortune smiles, others bring despair,
Yet they know, the fish aren’t always there.

Their wives wait at home, preparing the meal,
For their fearless fishermen, hearts full of zeal.
Praying today yields the best of the haul,
To feed their children, in the fog’s soft thrall.

So heave away, set sail, eyes on the sea,
Island men, wild and gallant, forever free.
So heave away, set sail, eyes on the sea,
Island men, unyielding, their destiny.

In Eternal Light’s Embrace

In a small, quiet town, lived an old woman gray,
With laughter in her eyes, and wisdom to convey.
Her heart was pure gold, her spirit ever bright,
But darkness lurked nearby, waiting for the night.

She’s climbing up to heaven, on wings of grace,
Guided by angels, to a better place.
Though the reaper took her life, she’ll shine forevermore,
In the arms of her
Maker, on that distant shore.

One fateful evening, under the moon’s pale glow,
A shadow crept close, with intentions dark and low.
It whispered wicked lies, spun a web of deceit,
And in a moment’s silence, brought her to her feet.

She’s climbing up to heaven, on wings of grace,
Guided by angels, to a better place.
Though the reaper took her life, she’ll shine forevermore,
In the arms of her
Maker, on that distant shore.

But as her soul departed, from this earthly plane,
Her light grew brighter, casting out the stain.
With courage in her heart, and faith as her shield,
She embraced the unknown, to never more yield.

She’s climbing up to heaven, on wings of grace,
Guided by angels, to a better place.
Though the reaper took her life, she’ll shine forevermore,
In the arms of her
Maker, on that distant shore.

So let the bells ring out, let the heavens sing,
For the old woman’s journey, on angel’s wings.
Though she faced the darkest night, her spirit now is free, Forever in our hearts, her memory will be.

Wanderer of the WastelandFaris’s Poem

In a wasteland, a man takes a stroll,
Through the debris and dust, he does patrol.
With a straight face, he strides,
As the world around him abides,
Thinking all is well, his heart whole.

In a wasteland so bleak and bare,
He saunters without a care.
Amid ruins and strife,
He embraces his life,
Thinking all’s fine with the wind in his hair.

In a wasteland of desolate plains,
He walks with no hint of disdain.
Through the rubble and sand,
He ambles, unplanned,
Thinking, “All is well,” as he reigns.

Through desolate lands, he roams free,
No worry or fear does he see.
In the wasteland’s embrace,
He finds solace and grace,
Content in his own company.

The Elegy of Dawn

In the silence of the wasteland, where shadows hold their sway,
There comes a gentle whisper as night begins to fade away. The skyline’s painted crimson, as the sun begins to rise,
But it’s not just light that’s breaking through these bleak and clouded skies.

Oh, the sunrise over wasteland, a beauty tinged with dread,
A canvas of destruction, where hope and despair are wed.
In its fiery glory, a warning we must heed,
For every dawn that breaks here, tells of the world’s misdeed.

Through the ruins of the city, where once there thrived a life, Now lies the remnants of a world consumed by strife.
Yet amidst the desolation, there’s a solemn kind of grace,
As if nature mourns the folly of the human race.

Oh, the sunrise over wasteland, a beauty tinged with dread,
A canvas of destruction, where hope and despair are wed.
In its fiery glory, a warning we must heed,
For every dawn that breaks here, tells of the world’s misdeed.

The birdsong carries echoes of a time that’s long gone by,
And in the stillness of the morning, we can almost hear their cry.
For in this desolation, there’s a story to be told,
Of how we let our hubris turn a paradise to mold.

The sunrise over wasteland, a beauty tinged with dread,
A canvas of destruction, where hope and despair are wed.
In its fiery glory, a warning we must heed,
For every dawn that breaks here, tells of the world’s misdeed.

Shadows of Unity

In the darkness, we roam alone,
Lost souls in a world unknown.
Shadows whisper, haunting cries,
Echoes of our silent cries.

But together we stand,
Hand in hand, we’ll make our stand.
Through the darkest night,
We’ll find the light.

Maura, Delilah, and me,
Against the darkness, we’ll break free.
Through the shadows, we’ll find our way,
Together, we’ll seize the day.

In the silence, our fears collide,
But in each other, we confide.
Through the trials, we’ll overcome,
In the darkness, we’ll find the sun.

Hand in hand, we’ll face the night,
Guided by each other’s light.
With courage in our hearts,
We’ll never fall apart.

Maura, Delilah, and me,
Against the darkness, we’ll break free.
Through the shadows, we’ll find our way,
Together, we’ll seize the day.

Through the darkest hour, we’ll rise,
United beneath the starlit skies.
With hope as our guiding star,
We’ll journey on, no matter how far.

Maura, Delilah, and me,
Against the darkness, we’ll break free.
Through the shadows, we’ll find our way,
Together, we’ll seize the day.

In the darkness, we’ll shine bright,
With our bond, we’ll conquer the night.
Maura, Delilah, and me,
Together, forever, we’ll be.

The Overlord’s Arrival

In Aurixiomar’s dark domain,
The Overlord and Agaric reign,
They craft a portal, twisted and black,
To bring destruction, never turning back.

Build the portal, breach the divide,
Bring chaos forth, let worlds collide,
For the Overlord, the one who lied,
His power vast, none can hide.

With thwarted plans and rage unspent,
Reapers forge anew with dark intent,
Another portal, with sinister desire,
As Earth prepares, their heroes aspire.

Build the portal, breach the divide,
Bring chaos forth, let worlds collide,
For the Overlord, the one who lied,
His power vast, none can hide.

Through the gateway, he now strides,
The Overlord and Agaric, side by side,
Aurixiomar’s reign draws near,
And Earth trembles with fear.

Echoes of the End

In the quiet of the night, where shadows dwell,
Memories of a life lived, a story to tell.
Whispers of the past, fading in the breeze,
A melody of farewell, carried on the seas.

Oh, where dreams once soared,
In the final moments, we find our accord.
Through the echoes and the pain, we’ll find our end,
A place to be safe, where we’ll transcend.

Through the twilight’s embrace, where time stands still, Echoes of a journey, against our will.
A tapestry of moments, woven in the sky,
Guiding us to surrender, as we say goodbye.

In the shadows of our yesterdays, we’ll find,
A flicker of hope, a moment so kind.
Through the echoes and the pain, we’ll find our end,
A place to be safe, where we’ll transcend.

In the silence of acceptance, a whisper calls,
A promise of peace, as the curtain falls.
So we’ll sing our requiem, in the fading light,
For in that moment, we’ll bid goodnight.

Amongst the remnants of what used to be,
We’ll embrace the end, and set ourselves free.
Through the echoes and the pain, we’ll find our end,
A place to be safe, where we’ll transcend.

A safe haven, where we’ll transcend.

Requiem of The Overlord

In the many realms, the Overlord reigns,
With Agaric by his side, plotting in dark domains.
Their ambition knows no bounds, their wrath unfurled,
To conquer galaxies, to another world.

But in the shadows lurks a force, a whisper in the night,
The Harbinger of Light, its presence full of might.
With unseen grace, it strikes, their fate now a fact,
The king of Aurixiomar, to battle, attacked.

In the cosmic balance, they meet face to face,
The Overlord’s darkness, the Harbinger’s grace.
A dance of yin and yang, in the celestial sight,
For harmony’s sake, they clash in the night.

Aurixiomar’s fate on the edge of the scale,
The battle for balance, where destinies prevail.
In the ebb and flow, of darkness and light,
The cosmic equilibrium, in their relentless fight.

In the void’s embrace, they collide in despair,
The Overlord’s shadow, the Harbinger’s glare.
A tale of imbalance, where hope is denied,
In the depths of sorrow, where dreams have died.

Aurixiomar’s sorrow, a tear-stained lament,
As darkness consumes, and light finds no vent.
In the heart-wrenching struggle, where darkness prevails,
The cosmic symphony weeps, as balance fails.

But in the flicker of darkness, the light finds its way,
The Harbinger’s strength, in the darkest of days.
The Overlord’s fate, now swayed by the light,
In the triumph of balance, darkness takes flight.

Aurixiomar’s king, his reign now past,
In the echoes of silence, his legacy won’t last.
Aurixiomar’s king, his crown now falls,
In the cosmic’s beyond, the balance calls.

The king of Aurixiomar, his throne now cold,
Agaric’s ambitions, a story untold.
With the Harbinger’s light, their fate has been sealed,
And the cosmic echoes, making their demise revealed.

Harmony’s Dawn

In the aftermath, the Harbinger rose,
With blade in hand, the darkness it opposed,
Restoring peace, the balance regained,
As hope once lost, now brightly flamed.

Beneath celestial skies so clear,
Peace returns, dispelling fear,
The Harbinger’s victory, a lasting gain,
In its wake, a world reborn again.

Through trials faced and battles won,
Unity shines, a new era begun,
From darkness to light, the path is paved,
As harmony reigns, in the peace we’ve saved.

Beneath celestial skies so clear,
Peace returns, dispelling fear,
The Harbinger’s victory, a lasting gain,
In its wake, a world reborn again.
